Our Story

Grass Fed Gals, LLC, is a local and home based "gluten-free" bakery that started in a kitchen, by two best friends of over 9 years, Liz and Emily.


They began a grass-fed paleo lifestyle to improve their health and quality of life after both being diagnosed with the autoimmune disease of Hashimotos Thyroiditis.  After being misdiagnosed on several other health issues, Emily was then diagnosed with thyroid cancer, having her thyroid removed a few days before Thanksgiving in 2015.  After going through an intense RAI treatment, Emily and Liz both decided that they needed to change their diets, to attack the root cause of what was attacking their thyroids to begin with!  Hence, Grass Fed Gals was born!


Grass Fed Gals uses only quality, non-gmo ingredients, and we support our local farmers and purchase all of our fruits and vegetables through them.  We are specializing in gluten-free breads, brownies, muffins, and cookies!  We use traditional methods to produce exceptional dessert and miscellaneous items which we make to Order; we always bake fresh, we never freeze!


While we continually strive for innovation at Grass Fed Gals, we’re still making our creations the way our ancestors made them.  And we think they would be pretty proud of that!
